Jean Fitzgerald-Mutchie

Community Health Manager

  • Jean Fitzgerald-Mutchie is a co-founder and current president of the Idaho Resilience Project. She is also a community health manager at St. Luke's Health System, where she works on finding solutions that combine population and community health strategies to provide health equity to all residents. Jean is a passionate champion of community engagement and organization and believes that cross-sector collaboration is essential to building resilient communities. In addition to her work with the Idaho Resilience Project and St. Luke's, Jean is also a Culture of Health Leaders Fellow with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, serves on multiple boards, and was a previous member of the Nampa City Council.

Roger Sherman

Idaho Children’s Trust Fund

Executive Director

  • Roger Sherman is the Vice President of the Idaho Resilience Project and the Executive Director of the Idaho Children's Trust Fund. He has extensive experience in community organizing and has been working to support children and families in Idaho for over 15 years. In his current role, he has worked with schools and organizations across the state to promote the well-being of children and families. Roger has also presented at conferences and events throughout Idaho and beyond.

Mari Ramos

Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

Director of Operations

  • Mari Ramos is a dedicated board member of the Idaho Resilience Project, currently serving as the Director of Operations at the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. With over 20 years of experience, including coordinating family community resources, supporting individuals at the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare, and serving on multiple boards such as the Idaho Foodbank and Nampa Idaho's Rotary International, Mari brings a wealth of expertise and a strong commitment to community development and empowerment. Her passion for removing barriers, connecting families with resources, and building resilient communities makes her a valuable asset to the Idaho Resilience Project.

Shannon Taylor

The Hill Education and Consulting

Certified Trauma and Resilience Trainer

  • Shannon Taylor is a board member for the Idaho Resilience Project, bringing her expertise in trauma-informed care and education. With experience in Idaho Falls School District 91 as the Reset Room Coordinator, Shannon is now a Certified Trauma and Resilience Trainer at Hill Education and Consulting in Idaho Falls. She leads trainings across southeastern Idaho, equipping educators and behavioral health professionals with the tools to create supportive environments for students.

Dr. Tom Patterson

Pediatrics Specialist

  • Dr. Tom Patterson is a pediatrician with over 20 years of experience in the field. He has a strong commitment to caring for underserved populations and has held several leadership roles in the American Academy of Pediatrics, both locally and nationally. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Patterson is actively involved in projects related to Adverse Childhood Experiences and Resilience, as well as organizations such as the Idaho Immunization Coalition (which he co-founded), the Idaho Children’s Trust Fund, and the Idaho Resilience Project. He has a particular interest in the intersection of mental illness and pediatrics.
